Spent my Xmas at a hotel with clean and well-appointed rooms. The staff were friendly, and the food was good. They had a tasty breakfast that kept us going all day. , the hotel's location was an added advantage as it was easy to move around.
The hotel had a rude owner that ruined our experience. We were asked to pay extra for a service we already paid for, leading to arguments and tension.

We were warmly welcomed with delicious Sri Lankan fruit juice. the room was modern and perfectly fitted to the natural environment. the lake was simply stunning, and the staff offered bicycles at a fair price for visiting the city. the food was amazing, and the staff arranged an excellent tuk-tuk for the Mihintale and Vilpattu National Park trips.
The resort lacks a swimming pool, which could have added to the facilities.

Spent Christmas in a lovely resort close to Anuradhapura city. the breakfast included was delicious and freshly made, with Sri Lankan and Western options available. the staff was friendly, accommodating, and helpful in organizing a city tour, bicycles rental, and transport to and from the airport. the resort's location was ideal for walking to popular places.
The only form of payment accepted was cash, which can be inconvenient who prefer to pay with a debit or credit card. the room assigned did not have a balcony, so there was no option to enjoy outdoor space.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and made me feel very welcome. They even arranged a tuk-tuk for me to explore the nearby ancient sites, including some off the beaten path. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I loved having a private balcony. The breakfasts were delicious, especially the different smoothie options each day.
No complaints, everything was perfect!
